Located in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, İstiklal Caddesi is one of the most famous and busy streets in the city. This pedestrianised thoroughfare is ideal for shoppers, with famous Turkish and international brands lining the route. While not quite as upmarket as some other streets, it has many stores that offer top-quality goods. The Aznavur arcade is worth a trip for souvenirs from Istanbul. Set midway along the street, it sells everything from clothing to jewellery and unique gifts.
